ABOUT US
Field Studies Sanctuary is a nature-based learning and creative outreach project rooted in land, lineage, and lived experience. Our work supports people who want to learn, create, and build in ways that honor the Earth while meeting the realities of modern life.
We offer grounded resources and educational tools that bridge traditional knowledge with contemporary needs — supporting curiosity, stewardship, and sustainable livelihood through clear, usable guidance.
Our work unfolds through three core pillars:
Teaching Modern Minds
Teaching Modern Minds supports children in learning with focus, confidence, and calm by helping adults guide learning in developmentally aligned ways.
The Apothecary & Learning Kitchen
Plant medicine guides, herbal templates, and food-as-medicine teachings that emphasize practical skills, everyday nourishment, and responsible relationship with plants and food.
The Founding Mothers Project
A living archive and creative initiative honoring women as builders, culture-keepers, and origin points — supporting storytelling, entrepreneurship, and generational wisdom through a grounded, contemporary lens.
Together, these pillars form a practical ecosystem of learning, creativity, and care — shaped by the land, informed by experience, and designed for real life.
